Step 1: Get Your Service Ticket
Contact our team via phone or email to discuss the issue (calibration, error codes, or spare parts needed). We will provide an initial estimate and a Service Reference Number.
Step 2: Safe Packing (The Most Important Part!)
Since viscometers are highly sensitive instruments with delicate internal springs and pivot points, safe packing is non-negotiable.
- Original Case: Always use the original carrying case if available.
- Secure the Shaft: Ensure the shipping protector (the small cap or sleeve that protects the pivot point) is in place.
- Double Boxing: Place the instrument case inside a larger corrugated box with at least 2 inches of cushioning (bubble wrap or foam) on all sides.
- Remove Spindles: Never leave a spindle attached to the instrument during transit.
